Two thirds of no where, a cup of bother, a pinch of the ordinary, a teaspoon of Alice, a scoop of sillies. Mix unreasonably well. Here is the recipe for characters cooked up in a crooked pot, served in a crooked dish, set upon a crooked table, eaten with a sparkling spoon, in such a spacious room.”

At a not quite ordinary kitchen-table, a girl finds kitchen-tools and ingredients come alive into imaginary friends or weird, sometimes grotesque creatures of her own fantasy.

Combining physical non-verbal storytelling, dance, magical pictures and sound and smell, this performance speaks to the playful, at times cruel imagination of children and adults alike. Duration: 50 min

Tickets cost R60
