Betty January has set up a Wellness Room at the Pink House in Masiphumelele. It is warm and inviting. Imagine yourself covered in warm towels on a massage table in a heated room, receiving a balancing, deep tissue massage while listening to gentle music and surrendering into deep relaxation.
Betty’s passion is to leave domestic work and to be able to massage full-time. Her dream for this new venture is to move to a venue outside of Masi and to build a health and wellness centre and spa where she can empower more and more of the women who have trained and graduated from Elaine Hackner’s Healing Art of Massage course to find employment in massage.
