Community Drop-off Center at the Outspan Parking on the cnr of Main Rd and Clairvoux Rd. Glass, Tins and Paper can be dropped off. Please do not drop off cardboard or plastic. Recyclables are sorted by people from the night shelter and any profit goes to the shelter. This recycling center is supported by the Kalk Bay and St James Civic Association.
Kommetjie Environmental Awareness Group (KEAG):
Note that KEAG is now based at the Soetwater Environmental Education Center. They only collect plastic containers and plastic bottle tops from which they make charismatic art from waste.
