Please join me and 120 other concerned individuals on the 22nd February 2013 from 11am to 3pm outside the Japanese Consulate in Cape Town. We will be holding a peaceful demonstration against the annual killing and capture of wild dolphins in Taiji Japan.

We will also be asking the International Olympic Committee to take this barbaric ‘tradition’ into account when considering Japan for the 2020 Olympics. The IOC will be visiting Japan this March and will make their final decision in September. We want to send the message that the world is against this slaughter and that a world event should therefore not be held in Japan.

There are to date 30 events taking place outside Japanese Emabassies and Consulates all over the world on the 22nd and Cape Town is just one of them. We are all standing together united and want the Japanese authorities to hear us.
Please help the numbers swell and spread the word. We need all like-minded individuals to help.

The address for the Consulate is as follows:

2100 Main Tower, Standard Bank Centre, Heerengracht, Cape Town.
All interested individuals  are to register as attending on Facebook as we have over 130 people joining us thus far and need to have 1 marshal in place for every 10 people on the day.

Kind Regards
Lauren Greve
