Some of you may know us, but for those that don’t, Masicorp is an NGO that works primarily in the field of education from pre-school to university within Masiphumelele.
Beyond this, we also have a small team of people working on enterprise development and we are writing to introduce an enterprise that has recently opened in Masiphumelele, Nonny’s Bakery and Café. The café is situated on the right hand side and just a few metres along Phokela Road once you’ve turned into Masi. It’s an ideal place
- to grab a coffee on your way into work,
- for lunch for you or your team,
- to order sandwiches and/or cupcakes for a meeting, and
- to buy beautifully decorated and tasty cakes for that special person or occasion.
Nonny serves light refreshments – including a delicious range of freshly baked cakes and muffins – as well as tasty lunch dishes such as pies, stews with rice or pap, toasted sandwiches, burgers, etc. She caters for all tastes! Nonny also has a lovely garden area at the back of her café where customers can sit in the shade of a small pergola and enjoy delicious home-made food in pretty surroundings.
For local organisations, Nonny can provide cakes to order, pre-booked light lunches or any other catering needs your organisation might have. She already delivers sandwiches daily to a sewing programme in Masi and often has catering orders from the library for ad hoc meetings or get-togethers that are being held there.
Nonny is fully registered with the City of Cape Town and complies with all their hygiene requirements.
Nonny can be contacted on 071 9986495.
