David Attwell, professor of English at the University of York and the world’s foremost authority on the work of J.M. Coetzee, has been researching manuscripts held at the University of Texas in preparation for his forthcoming critical biography of the Nobel laureate.

 Kalk Bay Books is delighted to host this illustrated lecture, which will provide insights into the working method, images and personal history that produced South Africa’s most famous fictions.
