The  Friends of Silvermine Nature Area have a varied and vibrant Activities programme centered around walks  in wilderness areas in the Far south Peninsula.   These walks are lead by locals with a wonderful depth of knowledge of the area. Although a basic level of fitness is required the focus is on exploring and enjoying both the outdoors and good company.  National Environmental Action days such as Arbour Day,  Coastal Clean-up Day, Marine Week and Big Bird Day are also celebrated with an outing in Nature.

NB.   FOR ALL WALKS PLEASE PHONE THE CONVENOR TO BOOK.  The convenors contact details and descriptions of meeting places are at the end of this schedule of activities.
