Kalk Bay Books is hosting an evening of music with
Bronwen Clacherty
Performing a fusion of jazz, folk and traditional African styles, Bronwen has worked with established musicians from all over the world such as Frank Biyong and Massak, Bobby McFerrin and Bheki Khoza.
Bronwen works with voice, keyboard, mbira, umrhubhe, uhadi, percussion and a loop station. In 2011 she recorded The Tholakele Project, collaborating with many other musicians to combine different languages and musical styles from Southern Africa.
