Tuesday 5 June is World Environment Day, and Yuppiechef is inviting you to take part in Eat For The Earth, our initiative in support of the fantastic charity, Soil For Life. The idea is simple:
1) Invite friends and family over to your house for a meal or gather colleagues together for an office lunch on or before 5 June.
2) In return for the meal, ask everyone to make a donation to Soil for Life. They can donate easily online or give you cash on the day. Donations start at R25, feel free to give as much or as little as you can – every bit helps.

Soil For Life are an NGO that teach people in underprivileged areas how to build soil and grow vegetables so families can sit down to fresh, nutritious and free food all year round. We think they’re pretty fantastic.
