Appearing in our morning concert at the Casa Labia Cultural Centre at 10h45 on Thursday 12 April are Grant Bräsler (harpsichord), and Quinton Crida (violin).

Grant was the winner of the Adcock Ingram Music Competition in 1996, and of the Stephanus Zondagh Overseas Organ Scholarship in 2000. He has been involved with the former CAPAB orchestra, the Cape Baroque Ensemble and the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a founder member of the Baroque ensemble Camerata Tinta Barocca. Quinton completed his Bachelor of Music degree at UCT in 1994, and freelanced in London for four years. He toured the UK extensively with the Mozart Festival Orchestra, and northern France with the Primavera Chamber Orchestra. He has been Deputy Concertmaster of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, and is leader of the Camerata Tinta Barocca. Their programme will include works by Bach, Corelli and Jean-Marie Leclair.
