The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has agreed to a second voter registration weekend on the 5/6 March prior to the local government elections in May 2011. If you miss the opportunity to register, you can still register by phoning 0800 11 8000 to find out how to and where to go.
In local government elections, voters may only vote at the voting station at which they are registered.
To get your voter registration details, you can:
- Enter your ID number on the IEC Am I registered? website
- SMS your ID number to 32810 (R1 per SMS sent/received)
- Call IEC toll-free (from a landline) on 0800 11 8000
The Scenic South area is divided into 3 wards (with a Councillor each) as follows:
(1) Ward 61 – Fish Hoek mountainside (approx. south of Recreation Road and south of Kommetjie Road from 10th Avenue), grouped with Simon’s Town, Da Gama Park and Ocean View
(2) Ward 64 – Fish Hoek valley and Clovelly grouped with Kalk Bay, St James, “older Muizenberg”, Lakeside and Marina da Gama
(3) Ward 69 – Sun Valley grouped with Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Masiphumelele, Sunnydale and Capri
The local voting stations for the FHVRRA area are:
Ward 61

Ward 64
- FALSE BAY COLLEGE
- FISH HOEK CIVIC CENTRE
- FISH HOEK PRIMARY SCHOOL
Ward 69
- SUN VALLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL

hi, just wanted to say, i live in noordhoek and went to register in sun valley primary as your website states, unfortunatly this is incorrect. Its in silver mine village.
