Two of our local Scenic South paddlers have been selected for the South African Canoe Marathon team to compete in the World Canoe Marathon Championships in Spain from 22 to 26 September, 2010.
Graeme Solomon will be competing in a K2 in the Senior Men’s division with Ant Stott of KZN and Rob MacLean will be competing in the Master’s category in the K1 and K2 events. Both canoeists live and paddle at Marina da Gama. We proudly feature Rob and Graeme of the Peninsula Canoe Club under Our Achievers and wish them joy in their training and success in Spain.
