Chris Bertish of Kommetjie to attempt 12-hour Stand Up Paddle for Guinness World Record

Hoping that the winds will blow steady and strong in his favour, South African Big Wave surfer and Mavericks hero Chris Bertish will take to the ocean on Tuesday, 17 December 2013 in an attempt to set a new non-stop, 12-hour Open Ocean Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) distance record.
