Do you have a my school card yet? When you shop at Woolies and other shops 1% will be donated to a school of your choice. There is no cost involved for you. All you have to do is remember to have the My School card swiped each time you shop at a my school shop.

Put a waggle in the tail!

Fish Hoek Meals on Wheels needs hoppers and drivers

 to to help deliver meals once a month on  average – on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Deliveries take about 90 minutes. If you can help please ph Mr P Cooper on 021 783 5394

 Volunteers with sewing skills needed!

Sewing classses for domestic workers are held every Wednesday between 2 – 4pm at the Kalk Bay Community Centre. If you have sewing skills and are able to spare 2 hours once a week, please ph Dawn Hare 021 789 1424. Pupils are welcome. Donations of sewing machines and sewing related items would be much appreciated.

Calling all book lovers!

At a loss as to what to give friends for their birthdays? What about a subscription of just R20 to The Friends of your Library. Fish Hoek Library has 18 000 members, but only 200 Friends. Imagine how much more could be done to spread literacy and the love of reading if each of those 18 000 members became a Friend. Compound that the Friends of our other local libraries…! Volunteer Accountant needed to assist the FHVRRA

 The Fish Hoek Valley Residents’ and Ratepayers Association has need of the voluntary services of an accountant to assist the Association’s Treasurer. This is not an onerous position but an essential one. If you can help please contact Allen Rose-Innes on 021 782 4279 or 073 559 6097
