” It is the fastest growing customer order book in the history of the automobile industry.”   Elon Musk’s Tesla 3 is a game changer for the ever-growing group of environmentally conscience people!

There is an ever-growing number of environmentally conscientious people living on Cape-Town’s Scenic South Peninsula. People who love the landscape and treasure the outdoors. That’s why we should all be celebrating Elon Musk’s electric car that received orders for nearly 200,000 of its Model 3 electric vehicle in less than two days. It is the fastest growing customer order book in the history of the automobile industry. It is difficult to argue with  Barclays analyst Brian Johnston and other analysts who believe : “To us the vehicle is ‘the game changer’ and will likely play a critical role in Elon Musk’s desire to expedite the auto industry’s transition from internal combustion engine to electric,”
Edible Flowers and which plants you should grow in your garden

A local who is changing the Game, one day at a time is Roushanna Gray who will be the Fourth Guest Expert this Saturday at 11 am at the FOOD DIALOGUE EVENT at FORAGERS in Scarborough. Roushanna Gray lives and works at the Good Hope Gardens Nursery in Cape Point. She is a wild food innovator and avid forager, teaching adults and children about indigenous edible foods and caters for pop-up events. Inspired by the local edible indigenous plant availability, she has been experimenting with the exciting flavours and diversity of Fynbos and Indigenous plants for the past eight years. The wide range of  delicious and nutritious culinary offerings from the beautiful inter-tidal rock pools along our coastline also play a major role in her cooking and courses.
WHAT THE HECK IS “FORAGING?

People are increasingly dissatisfied with the unsustainable nature of plastic-wrapped supermarket produce flown in from all over the globe. There’s a GROWING yearn to grow, pick and find our own-essentially that’s what Foraging is about. Roushanna will be introducing you to 10 of her favorite indigenous edible plants, wild weeds, edible flowers and seaweeds. The discussion will touch on history, seasons, identification, sustainability issues, preparation, recipes and which plants you should be planting in your gardens.
