Hot music at Old Mutual Summer Sunset series

super talent Toya Delazy Hot music on a hot summer’s afternoon at the most beautiful garden in Africa – that’s what you can expect on Sunday 27 January at the latest Old Mutual Summer Sunset concert.

The combination of super talent Toya Delazy with opening act by Lindiwe Suttle makes for a fabulous blend of music genres and sure to be crowd pleasers. Hailing from eMahlabathini near uLundi, KwaZulu-Natal, Toya Delazy has made a real impact on South African Top 40 Radio with the release of her debut and follow-up singles Pump It On and Love Is In The Air.
This talented young singer-songwriter trained as a jazz pianist but Toya’s more recent influences lie somewhere between Hip Hop, Electro, Alternative and Pop. Her debut album Due Drop was released in 2012.

Singer-songwriter Lindiwe Suttle will be opening the afternoon. Her debut album Kamikaze Art walks the line between avant-garde and mainstream with a balance of up-tempo songs and ballads.Her music has been described as organic electronic soul.
