Lorraine Lemmon-Warde submitted the following photograph of the red tide drifting towards Fish Hoek beach at 4pm this afternoon, 6 Aug 2013.

She also sent in the photos below of salps found in the sea at Fish Hoek on 15 March 2012.

She writes:  “The salps were floating around us whilst we were swimming. I caught a few in my bathing-cap to take home and photograph.  There were many in the water at the time.”

Thank you for your lovely photographs, Lorraine!
