International Marathon Swimmer, Ned Denison of Cork Ireland, completed a swim across False Bay, a distance of 35 kilometers in 11 hours and 5 minutes on Sunday 30 Dec 2012.
The swim was monitored by Peter Bates of the Western Province Long Distance Swimmers Association.
This is Ned Denison’s 10th international marathon swim. He said that apart from his swim across the English Channel this was the hardest swim he had yet undertaken.
