Aviva is one of South Africa’s leading entertainers, having performed for over four decades in countless starring roles in opera, operetta and musicals.
She has appeared in Paris, London and Israel, on international cruise liners, performing a vast repertoire of works with symphony orchestras, as well as
appearing on TV, and she has recorded 6 CDs.
Aviva’s versatility extends not only to performing, but also mentoring and teaching.
She has conducted workshops in the townships, and continues to coach diverse outreach groups with undiminished passion and commitment.
Her projects include Viva the Voices, showcasing the outstanding vocal talents of young students, Monkeybiz Aids choir, Pollsmore Prison choir, the Amy Biehl Foundation choir, the Domenican School for the Deaf, and the Hout Bay Music Project.
Her one-woman show, Santa’s Story, recently enjoyed a Sold-Out season at the Fugard Theatre.
