The first Stanford Street Market drew the crowds on a perfect sunny. windless day, Sunday 14 Dec. Queen Victoria Street was closed off, the Christmas lights were up, colourful stalls full of exciting gifts and goodies were erected and families and friends strolled the street enjoying live entertainment, delectable edibles or a sociable interlude at a streetside cafe, watching the passing parade.
